Vader steals this this vid. He keeps looking at me and then the cam. I’m pretty sure he’s trying to make sense of what’s going on.
I’m 0-2 on these cams and don’t think I want to put money down on the real thing. Yet..
Bonus video! My old Tri-Z 250 before I sold/traded it like a dummy.

I’ve bought enough cheap things that I’ve realised I’ll end up spending the same money one way or another but buying the better product means much less hassle.

And I thought Coal was big.

That measurement is to the top of the head. At the withers he’s only 28".
Coal is a big dude. I’ve seen the pics.

Usually I think the same way. Having lost two cheapies? I’m afraid.
In a moment of clarity I had a brilliant idea. The machine I’m building has two headlights.
Remove one light and replace with a quality camera!

That actually sounds really smart. Can be held on. After, the plastic helps protect WHEN you roll it, etc

When? Hey now!
Wait.. Yeah. When.

My dad always talks about riding those through the orchard and vineyards in central California. It was always a when apparently. Never an if.

There’s a long story behind trikes and when they became dangerous. That’s for another day.
The only time I flipped was because of “red mist”. I was hare scrambling against a guy on a YZ250F and.. I was going to keep him behind me! There’s no “runoff” in the woods. Full throttle up a berm and off the levee wall we went.
I can’t say it won’t happen again.

Yeah they would run through the irrigation channels. I think that’s where most of the accidents happened.

Yeah, he is quite big. I’ve never measured his height, but when he gets up on his back legs he’s about 5 feet tall. His weight ranges around 85 pounds.
